Mintvo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and business details you provide during onboarding.

Invoice data. Invoices you create, including client names, amounts, line items, and attached files. This data belongs to you.

Usage data. We collect basic analytics like page views and feature usage to improve the product. We do not sell this data to anyone.

Payment information. Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. We never see or store your credit card number.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide the invoicing service (creating, sending, and tracking invoices)
  • Send transactional emails (invoice delivery, payment confirmations)
  • Enforce your subscription tier limits
  • Improve the product based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. Period.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure. Each user's data is isolated at the database level — no other user can access your invoices or client information.

All connections use HTTPS encryption. Authentication tokens are stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Mintvo:

  • Authentication & Database — secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest
  • LemonSqueezy — payment processing for subscriptions
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Vercel — frontend hosting

Each provider has their own privacy policy and processes data per their terms.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Your Rights

You can at any time:

  • Export your data — download all your invoices and client data
  • Delete your account — permanently remove all your data from our systems
  • Update your information — edit your profile and business details anytime

7. Data Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove all your data within 30 days. Backups are purged within 90 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
